By Car

From the West

Take the Mass Pike (I-90) to Exit 18
Go towards Cambridge (cross the river)
Turn right after crossing the river onto Memorial Drive.
Go about a mile along Memorial Drive.
Turn left at Hyatt (traffic light) onto Amesbury St.

From the North

Take I-93 to Exit 26.
When off-ramp goes back to being two lanes, get in left lane.
Immediately after underpass, take ramp in left lane.
At stop sign, turn right and go over bridge.
Just before the end of the bridge, turn right (this is a difficult turn).
Immediately turn right again and follow Memorial Drive along the river.
Go under Massachusetts Avenue.
Turn right at traffic light at Hyatt onto Amesbury Street.

It's about 1.5 miles from crossing the river to the hotel.
If you look at a map, from I-93 to the hotel, you're following Rt. 3.

If you are traveling by truck...

... you need to follow the Truck Route directions. Following the above car directions in a truck will (at best) result in a ticket, or (at worst) result in your photo on the front page of the local paper with an article about how another out-of-town truck driver got stuck under an overpass.

From Logan Airport

If you're arriving by plane, you can take the Silver Line bus from Logan Airport to South Station and then change (free transfer) to the Red Line subway (direction "Alewife") to Central Square (Cambridge) and then take the free shuttle bus to the hotel.

You can read about other transportation options at the airport's web site. Which includes: shared van and taxi.

You can take a bus or taxi from the T.F. Green Airport to the MBTA Commuter Rail Station in Providence, and then take the train to South Station in Boston and follow the directions below.

By train or bus

From South Station (Bus, Amtrak or Commuter Rail), take the Red line subway (direction "Alewife") from South Station to Central Square (Cambridge). From there, take the free shuttle bus to the hotel.

From North Station (Commuter Rail) cross the street to the subway station and take the Orange Line to the Downtown Crossing or take the Green Line to Park Street (grab which ever train arrives first at North Station). By bicycle

If you're crazybrave enough to bicycle to the hotel, there are covered bicycle racks on the first level of the garage.

By foot

If you don't want to wait for the shuttle bus, you can walk from the Central Square T-station, or the Le Meridian Hotel (overflow). There's a secret pedestrian-only railroad crossing near the hotel. By foot, it's about 1 mile from Central Square to the Hyatt. Also, it's about 0.7 miles from the Hyatt to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel (scroll the map below to the right to see it).
